I remember that it looked different. A dirt road, narrow in places, several gullys, a few posters and a number of potholes.
This route was dusty earth. The soil at the top billowed after passing cars and it was a straight shot to the destination past the murram road’s jagged edge.
One had twists and turns. You had to know the way. The other would have you follow to the end. Both can rattle a car. One’s bumps can leave a passenger sore.
